Lloyd George's grandson to speak at Kettner Lunch

10.31.56pm UTC (GMT +0000) Mon 10th Dec 2007

Owen Lloyd George, the 3rd Earl Lloyd George of Dwyfor and grandson of Liberal prime minister David Lloyd George, has agreed to speak at a meeting of the Kettner Lunch to be held at the National Liberal Club on 15 April 2008. His subject will of course be his famous grandfather and apparently will draw upon family folklore and anecdotes passed down through the generations.

The 3rd earl was born in 1924 and lives at the family seat at Ffynone near Castle Emlyn in Carmarthenshire.

The Kettner Lunch costs £15 for two courses and coffee. If you would like to attend, you can reserve your place by telephoning Peter Whyte on 01344 423184.
